How do you find an intermittently shorted fuel injector on a 1990 Pontiac 6000? My mechanic says he knows it's a shorted fuel injector but it only stays shorted for a short time and he can't find out which one it is.

It should have set an engine code identifying what cylender is missing. Have you scanned the computer?
