I don't understand why my heater will not get warm like it should. The floor vents warm up slightly after driving for appx. 15 miles. The console vents do not ever heat up, only cool air.

Hi:
Is the engine running at a normal operating temp? Also, with the engine hot, running and the heater on high, check both heater core hoses under the hood. Both should be hot. Also make sure the coolant level is full.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

If your getting some heat but not alot check and see if it has the right or even any thermostat in it.

Then check and see if there is air in the line. Gm products are notorious for air in the line. Gm is junk. Get a new car
