When I start the car the first time there is no problem. After driving 20 miles or so and I shut it down to go into a store and it is off for 15 to 30 minutes it doesn't want to start. If I let it set for a while 15 -20 more minutes it starts right up, usually. Sometimes it will start but sounds as if it is having trouble getting gas, when this happens it usually stalls out, unless I can rev the engine up until it smoothes out. But from a cold start is turns over and starts right up. Fuel pump or fuel filter?

Next time it refuses to start don't wait for nothing do below to determine if its fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine at least 3/16 away from ground -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.
