When the battery is disconnected the code doesn't come up for about five seconds but when you leave it connected and restart it automatically shows. I changed the camshaft sensor, but the code remains lit. What else can I do? How do you check the wiring to eliminate the PCM?

Sure, here is a guide to help you check the wiring and I have included the engine and camshaft wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which wires to test.
