Hello, I was driving my truck until it started making a weird noise in the engine bay. So, I pulled over and decided to open the engine bay and noticed that the car was shooting engine oil all over the place. As I got a closer look, I noticed that the valve cover had a hole in it. So, I came to the conclusion that the timing chain has skipped. So, I took the car apart and that is when I realized that the chain had skipped. I did the entire job made sure everything was timed, and I cranked the engine just to make sure it was good. When I started the car it started up with a rough idle, I gave it gas and it would shut off. A few minutes later the car flashed the code Po320. I decided to look into that and see what could be causing the problem. It said that the problem could have been the crankshaft sensor or the cam I changed both of those and nothing changed. Just a major head scratcher. So, I was wondering if maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. Thanks

This code is basically telling you that the PCM is not getting the proper signal from the crank sensor. So that means this could be a sensor but if you just replaced the time chain then I suspect we have an issue with this repair still.

Unfortunately, the only way we are going to know is to run through the testing that we have for this code as something could have happened during the repair. So basically, we need to go off, what this is telling us the issue is which at this point is the P0320 code.

So, let's run through the testing below and let me know what you find or questions.

Thanks
