That is the only code it kicked. I can work on cars, but have never had this issue. If you could help figure out where to start, and what to keep my eyes open for. I have to fix it myself due to serious budget constraints. No 2nd and very little reverse. Will be grateful for any help. Thanks.

You could have a loose input shaft nut or a line pressure issue in the transmission. You could do a line pressure test which is where I would start. But you would have to buy a transmission pressure test gauge set. About 60-70 for the one I have. You could also remove the transmission valve body and see if the input shaft moves side to side.I would check the transmission pressure First.
