Sliding door rust

Hi
1998 Voyager 160,000 miles.
Have rust at bottom of sliders and want to remove, refurbish and replace them. Any tricks I should know about. I saw a small spring at the bottom that scares me in the removal and replacement process.

Without seeing exactly what spring you are talking about,im not real sure.Looked at one a little older and didnt see anything that should deter you from doing the repair yourself.Look at the spring real careful and figure out what it does and removing it shouldnt be very hard
