Front Springs

I have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager with 94000 miles 3.3L engine. After fighting a torx bit, I finally got the front strut/spring assembly out and replaced, but I neglected to look at or mark the orientation of the spring within the unit. I replaced it with a one piece preassembled unit. Needless to say my alignment is way off. The old pieces were disposed of already. Is there anywhere I can find out how the springs should be aligned other than looking under another similar van? I will still need an alignment, but at least the set-up will be right and easier to align properly.

yes usually there is a flat spot on the mount...look up in the well and see were the flat spot was...or check the other side! And position the "bulge" towards the outside, or tire...
