I shut my car off then I shut my lights off and my running light stayed on, on one side. Now it stays on all the time and I have no directional s, I have to disconnect the battery to get the running light to shut off. I have Replaced the directional switch and the headlight switch. Still have The problem. No directional and the running light stays on, on one side even when the car is off? When I take the directional switch out for a while then put it back in the light goes off until I try to use the new directional switch. What could this be?

First be sure the heavy flasher assembly is plugged in tightly. It's plugged in above the gas pedal and can come loose from its weight.

If that doesn't help, try a new flasher. As a last resort, suspect a problem with the Body Computer. They needlessly complicate many otherwise reliable circuits and are known to cause a lot of trouble.
