1999 Plymouth Voyager Routine Maintenance

I was told at 75,000 miles to have a complete tranmission fluid change. I have been reading so many bad things about flushings. They are not recommended by the manufacturer due to sludge flowing backwards and possibly ruin tranmission. This procedure is often recommended by shops that have bought the flush equipment and want to use and charge for its use. Is there other ways I can care for my transmission besides a flush?

You could change the fluid and filter without a flush. It leaves some fluid in the torque converter but gets most of it.
