The wipers are not working. I have replaced the wiper relay but still nothing.
Mechanic suspects BCM. I have been told by some that the BCM cannot be reprogramed from onr car to the next. Also have been told that the only place to get it is the dealer. The Chrysler part number that is on the BCM that is in the van has been replaced so many times that no one can tell me what I need from that number. Chrysler #04801062AC

Hope you can help. Jim

Did anyone check the obvious thing? The wiper motor? Shorted motors and blown fuses are common. Then again, Body Controllers are a common cause of inoperative wipers too. Isn't it silly that manufacturers found a need to run the wipers with a complicated, unreliable, unnecessary, expensive computer? And we just keep on buying these cars? That's why I still drive a 1988 Grand Caravan; no computers, ... And the wipers work just fine!
