I am trying to remove the center bolt on the crankshaft pulley/tornsional damper unit. How do I do that? The pulley just turns when I try to remove it. I read to jam it with a screw driver. But I don't see where to put it. I tried to jam it by putting the screwdriver through one of the upper camshaft sprockets, but ended up breaking the screwdriver.

If you can remove the cover plate below the flywheel and jam the blade of a large screwdriver in a tooth of the flywheel, that may work.
