My belt broke while driving and the power stearing went out. I drove it about 2.5 miles and then it died. I replaced the belt but my van won't start. It won't even turn over. Do you have any ideas to what might be the problem?

when belt broke most likely battery was all that was running engine. battery needs recharged then try starting engine, should be OK.
