Heater problem
1998 Plymouth Voyager 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I own a 98 Plymouth Voyager and just today the heater started to blow cold air and my "service engine soon" light won't go out. My antifreeze overflow was completely dry and I refilled it. When I started it the light is still on. Is it because I was low in fluid or is it my water pump or heater core that's bad?

Low coolant or engine running hot will cause a check engine light to come on
by adding coolant will not turn the light out it need to be reset
check for coolant leak
check and replace the thermostat
