1998 Plymouth Voyager Oil indicator

My oil indicator comes on when the vehicle is warmed up and RPMs drop below 8K what is a likely cause,,,, oil levels are optimal and just had an oil change

Hello,

Well I hope your RPM's aren't running at 8,000. If so no wonder your having problems. I don't know of a vehicle that the tact reads that high and besides that you would have blown your engine.

Anyway, the most likely cause could be a failing Oil Pressure Switch. Would also recommend having oil pressure checked.
