1998 Plymouth Voyager Car Stopping

My car is consently stopping and jerking without notice when i try to slow down. This is causeing the engine to shuting down. I have replaced the trottle postion sensor and the ider air control valve, but has not made any difference. So how can i find the problem and how can i fix it?

Have you checked the fuel pump pressure? Have you replaced the fuel filter reciently? Could the catylatic converter be starting to plug? Check for adaquet back pressure from the exhaust and listen for hissing or ratteling from the cat.
