Brakes problem
1997 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My parking brake pedal is locked in its drepressed position (down). How can I get the pedal to return to it normal up position? The brake release lever is not doing the job. Thank you.

while pulling brake release will the pedal come up if you pull it? if not then you will have to look under dash where the brake release cable is supposed to be then with a screw driver pull the release toward you and that will release it. if the pedal comes up and vehicle is still stuck then most likely the cable is frozen. hope this helps
