What is the quick and easy way to replace the heater core.

MAIN HEATER CORE
Removal & Installation
Drain cooling system. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove left side lower column cover. Remove steering column. See STEERING COLUMN . Remove ABS module, bracket and wiring. Remove instrument panel to body connector and bracket. Remove lower column insulation boot. In engine compartment, isolate heater hoses.
Remove heater core cover. Place towels under heater core tubes. Remove heater core retaining plate and tubes. See Fig. 3 . Depress heater core retaining clips. See Fig. 4 . Pull up on accelerator pedal and slide heater core past. Depress brake pedal and remove heater core from housing.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Install screws to retain heater core in housing. Install NEW "O" rings on heater core inlet tubes. Tighten tube retaining plate to 18-36 INCH lbs. (2-4 N.m).
