1997 Plymouth Voyager cruise controll

1997 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

cruise worked great, then stopped. when you turn cruise on a light comes on, and stays on until you turn it off. but now when you turn on the light comes on the goes right off. fuse are good. unless i missed one. what could be the problem.

clock spring

if have an air bag light on and or horn not working issue for sure suspect and check the clock spring
