When i go over railroad tracks the front right side bangs really hard and loud, and shutters for a few seconds. It bangs hard over rough roads. Also the heater won't work on anything but high and doesn't heat up if i am on the highway or if it is cold out.

Suspect worn bushings in front suspension. Bushings are giving letting suspension to bang together rather than the bushing absorbing all of the impact.


Inspect coolant level. Also inspect blower motor relay. If all is OK, suspect faulty blower motor resistor.

A particular kind of bushing, the rubber jounce bumper in the McPherson strut, has disintegrated. Replacement entails removing and dismantling the strut.
