My van wont start. Starter montor wont spin. When I turn the key over the lights come on like the battery is good, but it wont do anything. Can I bypass the solonid with a jump wire to see if the solonid is bad?

Hello, make sure the battery has a full charge and cables/wires are clean and tight.

Have you done any testing at the starter relay in the power distribution center? The voltage to the load side of relay is usually hot all the time. The voltage to the coil side of relay goes hot with key in the crank position. Check for voltage.

According to forum rules, I don't think I'm supposed to tell you how to bypass anything.
