1996 Plymouth Voyager i hear a clicking noise

1996 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

there is a clicking noise my batterie is dead i took relay if i trun keys the clicking stop can you please help why is it doing that

Hi:

If the battery is low, the starter will click and not crank. If you remove the realay, it won't get any power so the clicking will stop. Try recharging the battery and let me know what you find.
