1996 Plymouth Voyager brakes and rims getting HOT HOT

I just changed my front brakes and rotors I didnt have to undo any lines I even topped off my brake fluid but when driving maybe within 10 miles they start to smell and if you were to put water on rims they sizzle because the are so hot the calipers had no signs of leaking the boot went back in easy brake line are still firm please help whats the chance that both calipers went bad the car does not shake/an or pulsate when stopping

The brake caliper piston could be binding in the bore or the brake hose collapsed inside acting as a check valve.
