The first time I noticed it was the first time I had it highway speeds after having a ton of work done on the car. Timing belt,water pump,fuel pump have all been replaced in the last month. As we're tooling down the road the temp gauge starts going back and forth between cold and normal. It appears to be related somehow to RPM's. At idle it sits at normal. When I accelerate it starts flopping around. The heater works fine. Electrical maybe?
