I have a 94 Plymouth Voyager that will not go into reverse when it is put in R sometimes it will even go foward. It will go foward when it is put in drive. The transmission is a 604 ultradrive and the Haynes repair maunal refers to a PRNDL switch but none of the auto parts stores have any idea what I am talking about. Can you please HELP?

I don’t think its a faulty switch
its an internal tranny problem
it needs to be rebuild
