I don't know what or if there is a fault .. so i'm working on the presumption that you just want your lights off during the day ??? the violet/red wire from the DRL module is the live/hot feed to headlight's try disconecting this wire .. you will have to check afterwards that no other system is affected .. test by turning light's on and off at switch to make sure everything is working correctly .. this shouldn't affect the operation of lights .. but this is the first time i have tried this .. so please let me know ??

It's funny actually but the high-beams seem to be on all the time even when the vehicle is off (ignition EtC) and the light on the dashboard indication light also is illuminated ...Im thinking it's something to do with the highbeams or something.....I know when I even have the switch off in my van they are VERY bright. Wierd and I have no clue how to fix this issue ..thanks for your input again!

try unplugging the DRL module .. cleaning up the wiring plug/terminal .. iv'e not got the diagram in front of me right now .. but i think the high beams are a component controlled by the module.. worth a try .. if not you could try replacing the module .. i will have another look at the wiring diagram for you ?
