the van is not starting. Gave Jump it started. Mechanic said it is loose connection. after a week it wont start again. mechanic said alternator is going bad. is it worth to fix alternator at 167237 mileage. and how much does the alternator and labor will cost?

a new alternator is going to cost you almost 200.00 if you get your alternator rebuilt your looking at anywhere from 50.00 to 75.00 and labor will be about 50.00 as well, and yes it is worth fixing your alternator or buying a new one at 167237 miles
