How do you change out the throttle position sensor? Where is it located ?

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
TPS is mounted on throttle body and monitors opening angle of throttle valve. Sensor varies its output voltage according to angle of throttle blade opening. PCM uses this information and other sensor inputs to adjust air/fuel ratio. If PCM senses Wide Open Throttle (WOT) position during cranking, it assumes engine is flooded and turns off fuel injectors until throttle is released.

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
TPS is located on throttle body. Disconnect and inspect TPS connector. Repair as necessary. With ignition switch in the ON position, measure output voltage at center terminal (output) wire of connector.
At idle, TPS output should read more than 200 millivolts. At Wide Open Throttle (WOT), TPS output must read less than 4.8 volts. Output voltage should increase gradually as throttle is increased from idle to WOT. If voltage readings are not within specification, replace TPS.
