1992 Plymouth Voyager Thumping in steering on left turns

I have replaced the tie rod end, changed the tires around, and don't see or feel anything loose, this tends to be unoticed after driving for awhile and when at highway speeds. What could be causing this?

Have a helper shift through the gears (with brake on and parking brake set) while you observe the engine. If it moves more than a slight degree, replace the engine mounts and transmission mount. The thumping you hear may be coming from one of them.

Well you were partly right.
Seems the tranny motor mount was bad, but also the passenger side velocity shaft and joints had a broken coil spring in it. I guess when I turned left, the ball ends ran over part of the spring and made the thump. All better now. Thanks
