1989 Plymouth Voyager Will not start

I tried to start the van, but it only cranks over.I popped the hood and found a wire and I don't know where it goes.

Can you get a picture of it? Without that I cannot tell you what it is.

Did you check for fuel or spark

listen at the tank with key 1st on for the fuel pump
posibility ---fuses--relays--crank sensor --fuel pump
in that order
