I need to find out why my car over heats when the air conditioner is used. I had a new thermostat installed about a week ago and the car still get hot. It even gets hot when the air conditioner is not used but it takes a while longer.

Hi:

The AC will cause it to heat up faster because it requires more power from the engine. Have you had the radiator flushed? Also, make sure the radiator hoses, (upper and lower) are not collapsing from a vacuum.

Let me know if you have any questions.
