When I go to start my 2000 Plymouth Neon up after its been setting for acouple hours it revs up and rattles like my converters or muffler is loose. After it settles down, to the normal rpms, it runs great. I just changed my timing belt recently so I had to unbolt my motor mounts and jack the engine up to get to it. Couple days after I changed the belt this started happening. This is my only transportation to and from work so Im freaking out. Someone help.

Hi:

Because I am not there, I can only guess on what you hear. Chances are, it's a heat shield that is making the noise. Tap on the exhaust system with a rubber hammer to recreate the sound. If it is a heat shield, just take clamps, mechanics wire, or some other thing that you can tighten around the problem.
