1999 Plymouth Neon has a rough idle

1999 Neon with 138,000 miles and 2.0 sohc, 5 speed, the car has a REALLY ROUGH idle first thing when you start it. It goes away as soon as the car gets the temp up to normal or you drive it a couple miles. Then as soon as you shut it off an it sets and cools off it does it again and so on. Really driving me nuts, don't want to tear it up. Please help

Hows your MAF sensor fairing? May be a bit corroded and dirty, clean it up with qd cleaner, should fire right up and run like a jem.
