Engine Cooling problem
1996 Other Plymouth Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my neon overheats at times and i dont no why.But when it over heats and we take the cap where you pore the antifreeze alot of steam or backed up pressure sprays out but im just adding adding water not anti freeze could that be it also when i stop i hear bubbling noise

sounds like your water pump may not be working .. have the coolant system pressure tested .. also have the cylinders compression tested ... to check headgasket ??
