Transmission problem
1995 Other Plymouth Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My shifter button is stuck depressed and won't come back out. It won't switch from park to any other mode either. I was having issues pressing it in earlier in the day but if I pressed hard it would shift no problem. I went to leave for work and once I depressed the button, it wouldn't shift or release. What can I do? Thank you for your time and help?
