I have taken my Plymouth Laser to the shop several times to no avail. They have check the battery and connections. Occasionally when started, a single electrical type click sound will come from the dash area and the engine will die out or the idle will drop momentarily. Another click will follow and do the same to the idle. I will try to force the idle with more gas to no avail. Some days there is no problem at all. It starts and runs great. Last week I had the problem again. I sat and waited 10 minutes and then it started with not problem. I suspected moisture in the past but it was not raining on that day. What is the clicking that is killing the engine's idle? I attempted to donate but got an error message repeatedly. Would appreciate any assistance.
