1992 Other Plymouth Models Engine not running right

Have had problems with car for a few years. Unhooked the MAF to enable the car to rev past 4000 RPM. Car runs fine but lurches when weather is warm while going down the road. When weather is cold...it runs better. Car gets about 19 MPG and should get about 25 to 29 mpg. Seems to run better when accelerating vs. cruising. Warm weather seems to make this worse as well.

Have you checked the temp sensor? It could be sending a false reading to the computer.
