1992 Other Plymouth Models Died while i was driving

Now this is just a beater car, but i work construction so i need it back asap and cheap.
So i had just left a red light. Was driving at about 60km and pushed down the accelorator the Rpm's dropped, wouldn't go up and stalled out while i was in motion. Now the car attempts to start. It turns over. It just won't catch. Go any ideas. i'm at a loss .
