Steering problem
1974 Other Plymouth Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I HAVE A 1974 PLYMOUTH CUDA THAT I JUST HAD A RACK AND PINION INSTALLED. I RECEIVED THE CAR BACK AND THE STEERING IS JUST AS LOOSE AS IT WAS BEFORE AND MY FRONT TIRES LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SLANTED EVEN AFTER THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT. WHY IS THAT?

Hi:
All of the things you mentioned shouldn't be. The tilt in the tires refers to camber. It shouldn't be leaning. Also, did they replace the steering gear or rack and pinion. I didn't think they used racks in these years.

Let me know.
