2000 Plymouth Neon

my battery light last few days keeps coming on and off. when its on my dash lights dim alot. turned it off earler and tried to start it again all it did was make clicking nose but min later it started up.

either battery or alternator is bad and needs replaced. need to have both tested, also inspect battery cables. most local auto part stores will test your charging system for free.
