1998 Plymouth Neon 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

too much oil was put into the engine on accident. need to know if there is a way to fix this promblem, the oil got into the spark plugs and we've pulled them out, cleaned them and put starter fluid inside of their ports to try to get the car to start. we have also replaced the starter relay and the solenoid in an attempt to figure out what else is wrong; as well as buying a new battery.
Is there any way to get the car starting again, or is there something i may of done wrong in attempt to get it going again?

If there's oil in the cylinders you need to do an engine compression check to rule out the valves and rings
