1998 Plymouth Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my 98 plymouth neon's speedometer wont work and sometimes the rest of my gauges with shut off. everyone that i know that owns the same car has had the same problem. is there anyway to fix it? i really need to tell how fast im going and how many miles i have driven. when the speedometer stops working so do my milage gauges. please help.
