1997 Plymouth Neon Bleed the brake system

I replaced the power booster, front pads and rear pads. i then tried to bleed the system but afterwards the brake pedal has to pushed real hard before the car stops, what did i do wrong?

what do you mean you tried to bleed them? is fluid getting to all wheels when you bled it? did you check to ensure brake fluid is full?
