1990 Plymouth Laser input and output speed sensor locations

Transmission problem
1990 Plymouth Laser 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i was told my input and output speed sensors (pulse generators) were bad on my 1990 plymouth laser transmission 4g37I4. where are these located? is there a diagram anywhere i can use to find them? is this the vss or just speed sensor everywehere i go they say they are two seperate things.

my car wont shift out of 1 or 2nd gear i can go about 25 miles an hour.

Hello and thanks for the donation! Your vehicle speed sensors are located on top of the transaxle and they are different than a regular speed sensor.

does anyoe know where i can get the vehicle speed sensors? all my auto parts places here say dealer but dealer wants like $170

you will probably have to order it from the dealer unless you can find some at a local salvage yard. i believe it is a dealer only item.
