FROM THE BATTERY OF THE CAR THE WIRES GO DOWN FROM THE BATTERY AND WERE DO THEY CONNECT OR DO THEY CONNECT TOGETHER AND IF SO WHICH GOES ON FIRST..

Do not connect them together. That will short the battery, and it could cause a fire or the battery to explode.

The ground wire goes to the engine block, and the positive goes to the starter.
