I have been restoring a 1987 Plymouth Horizon and am befuddled by a low speed miss that occurs at stop lights. The car also stalls when turning left. I have replaced many components but am hesitant to go further without advise. Your help is most appreciated.

A complete primary ignition system loss for a second or two would indicate a possible dist. Hall effect pickup problem.
Set the parking brake and let it idle. The dist. Pick-up wire and connector are located below the cap coming out of the dist. Grab and play with the wire to test for an obvious shut off. Any part of that circuit in the wiring that may shift around from weight changes can be tested in the same way. A single secondary miss could be a wire, plug, or cap, or rotor problem. OK the dist. Pick-up plates always went bad on them and I used to carry a spare in my Horizon. An 87.
