Yes i need to know if my 2000 plymouth breeze with a 2.4 dohc engine is a interfernce engine the timing belt broke and i dont want to put another timing belt on it if it is a interfernce engine.Or is it possible the car did not get messed up from it i was only doing about 45 m.p.h. PLEASE HELP ME T.Y

It is a valve to valve interference, meaning the valves can hit each other when the belt breaks...and of course, bend!

So most like it that is what happened then right so its not worth putting a timing belt on it then right.

Only if you dont mind pulling the head and sending it to the machine shop for inspection, will need some valves replaced, possibly some guides. But a belt alone wont solve any of thiese problems.
