1999 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
ok, so I have a 1999 plymouth breeze and it's been working fine. I recently bought it used from a private owner. He told me that the fuse sometimes pops and if it should happen just pull over, insert a new fuse, and i'll be on my way. I was driving to a friends house and my car just stopped. The engine cut but the music was still playing and my lights were still on. I pulled off to the side of the road and looked and sure enough the fuse was popped. But not the one that he said it would. It was a different fuse. It's the PCM, ASD 20A fuse. I put a new one in and closed the hood and tried to start the car. It just sputtered and didn't turn over. I checked under the hood again and the same fuse was popped. So I called a friend to look at it while I put a new fuse in and start the car. He said it just popped instantly when I tried to start the car. I tried a bigger fuse and it still popped. I eventually had to be towed back to the house. I don't know what to do about this problem and I don't have money for a mechanic. Help PLEASE!
