car lights are bright,only the brake light and digital mileage lightup on the dash with car in park or neutral, but the whole dash lights up in reverse, drive, low 1 and low 2, also the windsheild wipers do not work or the radio. what is wrong or what check do i make on this car?

If the key is turned on, does the check engine light come on? Try reading the codes, If you cant, I suspect you need a body control module or the neutral switch on the tranny...
