2006 my car was stolen, and when I found it my steering column was damaged and my trunk was popped open. My brother fixed the latch on the trunk and after I got the steering column fixed the trunk still opened. This past September I went to open my trunk and the latch that sits on the floor on the drivers side was loose when I went to left it up. The trunk of course would not open. What can I do to open the trunk of my car up without putting it under to much damage?

If the cable end broke then you can trim off the outer sheathing and use pliers to pull the cable. If not try to access trunk through rear seat. Im not 100 percent sure on your car but you can almost always remove the rear seat back after removing seat bottom and enter trunk. With a flashlight locate where the trunk cable connects and with a screwdriver pop the linkage. Then it will open.
